First On Air solo show!

I performed my first solo show today and it went swimmingly. I did notice a few times I paused between words when reading the news, my entertainment minute and my way back playback. There were a few awkward scheduling’s in the software that shouldn't have been there which kind of threw me off a bit but I seemed to manage it just fine and I was able to keep the show on track.

I hope you were able to tune into listen to my show and find out about some of the interesting topics I discussed like the Shania Twain and Sam Smith interviews with ET Canada (they were separate interviews) and some details about the 2023 Canadian screen awards. I also mentioned that the 2024 NHL All Star game would be held in Toronto and that the longest living Pacific pocket mouse died on Wednesday.

After my show I went to the Coffee and Chat event hosted by Social Inc just across the hall! We had coffee and drinks as we played Scrabble, we actually had one game where we were able to use all the letters.

Not that many people showed up in the beginning but as we passed the halfway point of the event so many people showed up.

After Coffee and Chat there was Sustainable Valentine's Day Bingo where they gave us a kit to make chocolate at home and a really nice reusable bamboo fiber cups.
