December 1st
The month started off with a great morning show on INDI 101-5, I was Co-host and the news announcer.

I was excited to go to a concert that night with my friend Stephanie but the hurt her back and couldn’t go and I’m glad she didn’t go because it would have been killer on her back. We had to stand in the rain for 20 minutes before they let us in and then take another 20 minutes just to climb up a short staircase! And after all that the show wasn't very good, the first guy was indie act that wasn't OK at best the next guy was I guess repeat machinist, like you place a note and then an repeat so his computer would play it over and over and he would sing over it, he wasn't very good, so I left.
December 2nd
The second set it off with an interview at 9:20, I don't think I did very well, I was kind of nervous and was thinking about the radio job I had just applied for.
Later at 12 I had a dentist appointment and they said I was doing very well cleaning my teeth especially since I just use a manual brush and it's made of wood.
I went to the bank to set up an appointment for Wednesday, had a great lunch at New York Fries then i set up a hearing appointment for Monday.
Then I went home and read the newspaper and an entertainment magazine then I played the rerelease of Tony Hawks Pro Skater One and Two. I'm really enjoying it, it has a lot of great music from back then and it plays better than I remember. I love how it's just press a button for a trick instead of moving your stick one way in some direction and then moving it quickly to another to do a kickflip or something, I also really like how you don't have to hold forward to move, because on wheels your initial forward momentum will carry through until you have no more.
Then my family and I watched the movie The Christmas Toy, which was a made for TV movie featuring Kermit the frog, I had a lot of fun watching it. The movie was an all-puppets kind of thing, so it was a lot like watching an episode of The Muppets. Kermit the frog did an intro for it and was also featured in the
ending as well.
December 3rd

Today I spent most of the morning working on the Yesterday Podcast web page, I spent most of the morning working on it because I kept making mistakes like accidentally deleting the navbar for the website and I also kept running into issues trying to get the podcast page setup. Eventually I got it to work by having it feature an album that someone could buy but I set each track to download for free.

In the afternoon we decorated the house and the Christmas tree. And every door frame on the first floor has something on it like beads or garlands, some of them even have little Christmas bobbles because we couldn’t fit everything on the tree. And we got a few Nutcracker statues around, they're not life-size or anything they're only about 20cm tall.
Then I was able to read a few articles before dinner.
December 4th
I woke up early so I could write the entertainment news for the podcast I was going to be in, which went pretty well but I forgot to put on sunglasses between the weather segment and the entertainment news segment.
Today I went to the local Domino's to get a pizza for my dad and I to have for lunch. Then I was able to watch a few things while I ate but then I had to get ready to go for my hearing appointment that I made a few days earlier.
Later when I came back, I had a great conversation on Instagram, if you've been listening to the yesterday podcast you know how this goes.
December 5th
In the morning I attended one of my final classes for Writing and Production where I worked on my final assignment.
In the afternoon I attended my final Radio and Media Sales class where I started to work on my final assignment with my partner Tyler.

December 6th
I had a 10:30 bank appointment that I set up on December 2nd where I filled out a SIP survey and I made some adjustments to my TFSA.
Then my dad gave me some money to get lunch and get my moms wine at the same time. So, I went to Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen for lunch, and they were packed, there were literally no seats left there, so I took my lunch to go and walked over to Jackson Square and ate my lunch in the food court. And then I went and got my mom's wine and went home.
When I got home, I was working on some of my final projects especially my final project for the Writing and Production class. Sean and I also did some show prep for our Friday radio show.
Also, I started the audio book A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens even though I've actually read the book before, though I thought it would be a fun December/ Christmas thing.
December 7th
This morning when I was posting the episode for December 6th, but I forgot to hit publish and the episode just sat open on my desktop until that afternoon, so I ended up publishing it late.
But when I was at the college my group and I worked on our Social Media Marketing campaign sales pitch project. I liked how it turned out at this point and spoilers for later I liked how it turned out in the end too. Then our teacher brought in cookies and candy canes for us to have while we worked on our Social Media Simulations.
Later when I got home, I was talking to that person again on Instagram but I ended up calling off our Friday date because she was lying about who she was and sending me photos of other people and claiming they were her.
But then I got an e-mail from Jazz FM saying that I won a contest for a copy of the album A Joyful Holiday by Samara Joy on vinyl! That really made my day.
December 8th
So I woke up late this morning and then I got asked to babysit the dog, she's still a puppy so she needs to be constantly babysat and watch to make sure she's not eating something she shouldn't be like furniture and the walls, as you probably can hear in this episode of the yesterday podcast she really wanted to be a part of things because she came at me with a squeak toy and she was running around the whole time trying to get my attention.
Then I left to do the final episode of the radio show where I was told that in the show that I hit a musical post which made our show sound really professional. Hitting the post in radio is when you talk over the song to a certain point and then you stop talking right as the singing starts but hitting a musical post is when you talk to a point in the song where an important instrumental part happens like the bass drops, or it starts getting really loud or something. It's really hard to do because it takes a lot of practice and you really have to know the song well.
Then I worked on my final project for the Radio and Media Sales class, and I had a great conversation with my friend Lorraine. After dinner my family and I watched the new Merry Little Batman movie on Amazon Prime before bed.
December 9th
I got settled with babysitting the dog again but today it was all morning rather than just so my dad could go get something at the store. In the afternoon I worked on the sales pitch for my Radio and Media Sales class. Then my family and I watched The Bells of St. Mary’s from 1945.
December 10th

Hot Dogs and videos in the morning but then I started and beat the game Momo Dora 3. Since that went by so quickly, I decided to play the game One Piece World Seeker, it's a great game but as you know if you've been listening to the podcast what ends up happening.
So, we ordered pizza for dinner, but the pizza place heard our order wrong, and they thought we said spicy sauce, so we had spicy sauce pizza for dinner while we watch the latest episode of Quantum Leap, the new series on City TV in Canada and on NBC in the US.
December 11th
Not too much today, I completed some of my course feedback surveys had lunch and then went to Hamilton Hyundai to do research for my Radio and Media Sales final project.
December 12th
This morning I completed the rest of my course feedback surveys except for the Radio and Media Sales one because it's technically not over until the final project is handed in.
Then I went out for lunch but when I was out, I found out that I misplaced my keys and my bus pass, so I had to run home, and I scrounge to round to find them. Apparently, I put my bus pass in my coat pocket and my keys just fell down onto the floor because I didn't clip them on properly.
How embarrassing.
So, then I went up to the college and did my final presentation for Radio and Media Sales. Past me says I think we did OK but actually we did… OK. The nerves got to us, we were a little all over the place and we brought up the letter instead of the presentation but tried to make that look like it was done on purpose but then we showed part of the presentation at the end anyway.
Next, I went to the library and picked up the movie Navajo Joe from 1966 based on a friend's recommendation. OK it wasn't really a recommendation it was more of a, “you'll like this it's awful,” so i picked it up. Then I went to giant tiger to pick up a few things for dinner and I got myself a drink for when I watched the movie.
When I got home, I played with the dog a bit and then I took her for a walk, and it was so dark I really could have used a flashlight. But I forgot that I put a flashlight in a bag with her stuff a few weeks ago.
December 13th

I had a bank appointment today, but it was cancelled so I decided to play more of the game One Piece World Seeker but during my game that record that I won from Jazz FM, A Joyful Holiday by Samara Joy arrived!
That afternoon I watched the movie, Navajo Joe, and my friend was totally right it is bad, but it was fun to watch.
Then I played a few more games before taking my dog for a walk. I was out there with her for almost an hour. And I think she had a lot of fun judging by the big goofy smile and how much she was panting when we were done.
Next, I was able to get the tickets to the play Pollyanna at theatre Aquarius for the Thursday show.
December 14th
The morning was kind of boring because I just sat on my computer and did a few things until 11 then my dad sent me out to the market to pick up a few things for lunch and I was also able to pick up my prescription drugs from the pharmacy. And when I got back, we were able to have these great ham and cheese quesadillas that were very filling, I couldn't even finish mine.
That afternoon I started the “3D puzzle” of the Flying Dutchman,

but I don't know how puzzle comes into it because it's kind of just cards that you slide into each other following the directions included. I was also able to listen to that Christmas album A Joyful Holiday by Samara Joy while I was working on it. The album was great by the way but the speakers on my record player really suck, I really need to get better speakers to listen to it in all of its glory.
Also, that afternoon I was called by Rogers, and I was elated to find out that I had been accepted into the Connected For Success Phone Plan! But then I spent the rest of the afternoon listing to my new record and building the “3D puzzle” of the Flying Dutchman.

At 6:45 I left to go see Pollyanna at theatre Aquarius and it was amazing! There was a ton of singing and dancing and there were tons of jokes packed throughout the entire show, I had a great time. The center of the stage even rotated around so people could actually look like they're walking instead of just walking in place or you could have the inside scene and then turn the stage to focus on what's happening right outside the window of the inside scene. I really hope they come out with it on DVD or a movie of the play, I would highly recommend going to see it if you get the chance.
Also, that night I finished off the audiobook for A Christmas Carol. Since I actually read this as a book, years ago and almost every year my family wants to watch the movie A Christmas Carol from 1951, my brain really didn't want to pay attention to it so I kind of had to force myself to listen until I finished off the audiobook. I really wouldn't recommend forcing yourself to read or listen to a book it's going to cause you to dislike reading or listening to books.
December 15th
My new phone arrived this morning at 10! So, I spent all day working on it, downloading apps and signing into all sorts of things. By the way the new phone is the Samsung A14 5G.
December 16th
In the morning I was setting up my music and logging into a few last things on my phone, so my morning wasn't very interesting. And in the afternoon, I played One Piece World Seeker. Later, that evening we watched A Christmas Past on Kanopy. A Christmas Past is a collection of short films from the turn of the century (19th to 20th). Some of them were really fun like that one where they were all just running around town, but others had a more serious tone like the one with a man that was down on his luck so he turns to crime.
Kanopy is a free movie streaming service, but you need to log in with your library card and you only get about 10 movies or TV shows to view a month unless their children shows/ movies because those are free.
December 17th
Today I didn't do very much in the morning and afternoon I played One Piece World Seeker, but around 4 in the afternoon I took the dog for a walk. And that evening I also started a new audiobook, Branded by Simon Archer.

December 18th
In the morning I played One Piece World Seeker, I'm really enjoying this game. But when I went down to have lunch all the milk was gone so I couldn't have cereal! I usually only eat two meals a day so having cereal for lunch is not unusual for me. Plus, the most important meal of the day is Lunch not breakfast! Breakfast as we know it has only been around since the late 1800s before that there wasn't any unless you were a king.
In the afternoon I started the game Lost Ruins it's a fun metroidvania game. And I played it all afternoon up to dinner time where we had one of my favorite meals… fish!
December 19th
In the morning I played more One Piece World Seeker, but at 11:45 I went to Philthy Philly’s for lunch and had my first Philly cheese steak. It tasted great and they were pretty big and filling. Next time I go to Philthy Philly’s I'm probably going to get a Philly cheese steak again, but I'll go with the small next time.
After lunch I went to go pick up my mom’s wine at the LCBO and I picked up my dad's beer at The Beer Store. And when I got back home a package arrived at the front door so I bent down to pick it up and the front of my pants ripped! Usually, you think the back would rip before the front, but they're ripped in the front, I guess that's why I got them so cheap. After I changed, I played more Lost Ruins until 3 when I decided to read some newspaper articles. Well, when I was done reading, I decided to play more One Piece World Seeker.
December 20th
This morning I got up early because I had an 8:00 AM blood test but when I got there, I realized I forgot the paperwork, so I had to bus back home in front back to the testing centre. But then I was able to take the bus all the way to Walmart so I could buy new pants and replace the ones that ripped so spectacularly yesterday but when I was on the bus, I had a micro sleep just before my stop, so I missed it, I only had to walk a few blocks back though so it’s not a big deal.
When I got back it was only 10:30 and I realized I had not finished the last two weeks of the social media simulation, so I started to work on that, I was able to finish one of them and I'd do the other tomorrow. Today there was milk in the fridge at lunchtime, so I was able to try that cereal, it was mini Trix and if you're wondering I thought they tasted like Fruit Loops.
Dinner was kind of a bust because it wasn't cooked all the way through so my mom ordered dinner from Swiss Chalet. And after dinner I started a new audiobook called Bookshops and Bonedust by Travis Baldree.

Future me talking here I would highly recommend this book I only recently finished it but I thought it was totally amazing, it's about an orc that gets into books and ends up fighting a necromancer! You should read it.
December 21st
This morning I played more One Piece World Seeker and for lunch I had some leftover chicken wings from the other night. I needed to have a quick lunch because I had a hospital appointment right after but when I got there, I found out they had to cancel my appointment. So, I went back home and played more One Piece World Seeker but a glitch that has been going on for a while that was kind of small at first it has now gotten so intense that I have to stop playing.

I didn't do too much else that day I was kind of depressed, but we did get to play the Christmas trivia game my mom bought last year. I won by only one point, and it is not an easy game because this game talks about some things that are from the early 1900s and from some movies that I haven't even seen.
December 22nd

I could not fix the issue so I had to uninstall One Piece World Seeker, but I will try reinstalling it at some point to see if it works better later. But I did try playing this other game called Frogun. It's a lot of fun it felt like I was playing a PlayStation one game, the graphics are kind of polygonal and pixely like games from that era and it's a 3D platformer where you're collecting Things to create a dragonfly Jem at the end of the level.
Then I went to Philthy Philly’s for lunch again and had a Philly cheese steak, they were so great the first time. But while I was there the side talked me into getting fries with it, I probably shouldn't have gotten the extra fries with it because just the sandwich is pretty filling on its own.
Then I went to the market to get some things for dinner that night and I went to the grocery store to get a few things for the weekend. After that I played some more Frogun.
December 23rd
This morning I read a few articles from the newspaper and a few from exclaim media before starting my laundry. Then I went back up to my room to read a few more articles before lunch.
For lunch we had nachos, I really love nachos! And we watched the movie Andrea Bocelli: A Bocelli Family Christmas. I would give it a 3 1/2 star rating because it's nice to listen to but the story around it is only OK and the music even though it was nice was not to my taste. I bet someone out there really likes this kind of music and would love to watch this movie every year but I'm not that person.
After that I've played some video games. I played some Lost Ruins after having to reinstall it and then I played Frogun untill dinner where we had sausage rolls.

I didn't mention it until now in the podcast, but we were listening to The Cinnamon Bear radio drama from 1937. It's a great show and it's still very popular today, there was a hand puppet television series in the 50s and a newsletter started in ‘87 about it that ran for five years, and a book was published retelling the story in 2007, there are also people that listen to it every year.
That evening we watched Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol from 1951 with Alistair Sim as Scrooge.
December 24th
I read a few emails before being called down to start our game day. Game day here is a tradition that we do on days when everyone has the whole day off like on Family Day or Christmas Eve. So, one person picks a game then the next person gets to choose a game followed by the next person and the final person after that. We also have snacks throughout the day instead of a full-on meal at lunchtime, usually we have veggie sticks other chopped vegetables crackers a cheese tray and some meats lake kielbasa or ham. We played Disney's Villainous first and my mom won and then we played Happy Little Accidents which is a Bob Ross game about drawing, my sister won that one. Then we played Wingspan which is a game all about birds and surprisingly I won that one after playing so poorly all game. Then we played the card game black wives which my Oma taught us, Oma is Dutch for grandmother, it's also German for grandmother.
Then we watched Klause over on Netflix, it's a great movie about how Christmas got started and it's all about this mailman's journey from being a spoiled brat kid to helping start the traditions of Santa Claus. And then we had this really great chili my mom made for dinner.
Then we brought down all the presents and put them under the tree or in the stockings before we watched The Thin Man from 1934. Because what's more Christmassy than a murder mystery movie.
December 25th
I didn't take any photos today because I was more interested in what was happening around me to think about taking pictures.
I gave my sister a giant avocado plush that she kept with her all day even while she was playing her new video game, Detective Pikachu. I also got her a Spirited Away journal which has sketches on a corner of each page. I got my mom some bath salts and the book Being Henry which she started right away. I got my dad a Rubber Duck Batman that I saw at Comic Con, but sadly it doesn't float, but I also got him two CDs I Giorni by Ludovico Einaudi and I Can Only Be Me by Eva Cassidy.
I got new speakers for my record player so I can listen to that album properly, I also got an external optical drive for my computer so I can rip CDs and watch movies in my room. I also got some action figures like Aang and Prince Zuko from season one of Avatar the Last Airbender, the Aang figure also came with Momo the monkey, and a figure of Luffi from One Piece.
We also had a huge Christmas dinner there was ham, meatballs, chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, cauliflower and salad.
December 26th
I spent most of the morning working on my website and making it more accessible by working on the alt text for some of the images and making it more visible on Google. For lunch we had leftovers from that gigantic Christmas dinner, I guess leftovers are going to be lunch for the foreseeable future. That afternoon I played Frogun until I got frustrated with it,

so I started to play the game Mago which is a 2D platformer and it feels a lot like it came from the Sega Genesis era.
Then we had leftovers for dinner, but after that I took my dog for a walk where I found out her favorite sport is soccer. We didn't actually play soccer while we were out, we brought her new toy which is a soccer ball sized Chuck It ball that my parents got her for Christmas. She loves chasing it around and playing with as if she were the goaltender for a soccer team.
After I got back, we watched an episode of the Superman animated series that aired from 1996 to 2000.
December 27th
I found out that I still had four demo games installed on my computer, so I played them that morning and I found out that I really liked three of the four of them, so one I put on my wish list and the other two I bought because they were on sale, one of them was on sale for only $2.
Then I had chicken strips for lunch so I could get to my bank appointment on time. I got some great advice at the bank about my savings and how I can better invest in some things. And when I got home, I got a package of two button up Hawaiian shirts, one is a Wonder Woman shirt that was drawn in the style of a tattoo and the other one was an image of an old Chinese sailing ship.
December 28th

I played that new game that only cost me $2 all morning, it's a racing game called Gravel. I love this game, it feels a lot like playing Motor Storm: Pacific Rift or Arctic Edge. I love how all the vehicles handle except for the tanks because those are tanks, and you probably shouldn't be racing tanks. Also, some of the levels are great, they look really nice and are really nice to race on.
That afternoon I was able to work on the “3D puzzle” of the Flying Dutchman, but there were some more problems. A major problem is that the figurehead weighs too much for the rest of the ship to support it so it falls off all the time, I even tried taping it on but that didn't help. Some of the other parts of the ship that I added that day also wouldn't stay on, so later that day my dad looked up why it was like that and found out that many other people had the same issues that I was having.
For dinner that night we had a little feast of pizza, chicken wings, cheese sticks and my mom got samosas for herself, it was not for a special occasion or anything it was just because we didn't want to make dinner.
December 29th
In the morning I played Gravel and at 11:40 my parents left so I finished off my game and I took the dog for a walk. I think she had a really great time because she was really tired when I got her home because of all that running around and playing with the Chuck It ball and now the ball is all muddy.
For lunch I had leftover pizza from the pizza feast last night and I found out a great way of preparing leftover pizza so it tastes great. Since it was in the fridge, I microwaved it for a minute but when there was 10 seconds left on the timer, I started the top of the oven that had a frying pan ready for the pizza. I've put the pizza on the frying pan and covered it with a lid Next, I waited about 3 minutes and 30 seconds for it to warm up before taking it out to eat. It was nice and crispy with the cheese kind of melted a little, so it was like I just bought it, probably not as good as that but it tasted great.
That afternoon I was able to work on the model of the Flying Dutchman some more while I listen to the album A Joyful Holiday by Samara Joy with my new speakers. The album was even better with these new speakers, but I still prefer listening to music digitally rather than on record.
When my parents got back, I went out to the beer store to return all the cans and bottles and then I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. One of the things I was supposed to get was dill pickle chips, but they didn't have any unless my sister wanted something weird like spicy dill.

December 30th
Today wasn't the most exciting day but here it is anyway. I played some games, had hot dogs for lunch, took the dog out for a walk, I made myself some Biosteel drink, I listen to some more of the audiobook Bookshops and Bonedust and then we watch Disney's Robin Hood from 1974.
December 31st

Today I woke up read some emails and then I decided to play Wavetale, the other game I bought that was on sale. It feels a lot like playing Jack and Daxter back on the PS2 again. That afternoon I played Mago, but I just wasn't feeling it, so I played more Wavetale until around 4:10 when I took my dog for a walk. That night my mom, dad and I watched Invincible on Amazon Prime and then we played cards until my mom went to bed. After my mom went to bed my dad and I watched some animated shorts for half an hour.
Then we change to live TV to watch the New York City New Year's Eve Ball Drop. We change to it 5 seconds before they started the countdown, so we got to hear them intro the countdown and then the countdown. Then I posted a happy new year message to everyone in my class A couple seconds after midnight. Then I was able to listen to the last of my audiobook Bookshops and Bonedust, I do recommend this book it was a lot of fun. Then I watched the Outside Xbox New Year's Eve special on YouTube. And then it was about two in the morning, so I went to sleep.
Sorry but this took a lot longer than I expected it to, I thought it was going to be much simpler because I have all that recorded audio. Sourcing some of those images took the longest because I'm not a big picture taker in my day-to-day life.
If you made it this far thanks for reading this if you also listen to the podcast thanks for listening to that too.
Have a good day, bye.
