I have loved radio all my life! Ever since I was a child my parents would always have the radio playing in the background at every meal and that continues to this day but now it’s only at dinner. Usually, we would listen to Jazz FM 91 or Classical 96.3 FM but sometimes they like to listen to AM 740 for a change of pace. As a kid I would listen to Jazz FM 91 all day and go to sleep while listening to it too. As I grew up, I wanted to listen to more rock and punk styles of music, so I turned to many different stations such as Y108, The Hawk 101.5 and 102.1 The Edge, but every night I would still listen to Jazz FM 91. When I was about 14 or 15, I turned to Slacker Radio to listen to music more focused more toward what I was into, post brain surgery I couldn't listen to Jazz FM at night anymore. Until recently I only listened to Jazz FM on the radio during the day because I was dealing with depression so I needed to listen to music that I really liked to keep my mood up and I could only listen to some of the music from my massive collection, over 15,000 songs at the time (but I only like about half of ‘em).
Now I am listening to the radio more than ever I listen to a variety of stations such as Jazz FM 91, Classical FM, Energy 95.3 and 92.9 The Grand to name a few. I still get depression all the time and need to listen to some of my own songs in my massive collection which is now over 17,000 songs but I can listen to the radio more often. I actually have this app on my phone now that lets me tune into any online station I want and I'm using a generic one that came with my phone to tune into AM and FM stations nearby. And just the other day I was road tripping with my friends Spenny Gee and Sean Allan we had the radio blasting Indi 101-5 FM.
Just yesterday I was actually able to meet one of the hosts from energy 95.3, Will Nash!

I was volunteering at the Mohawk College open house and helping represent the F-wing where the majority of the radio program is held. And two years ago, when I was signing up to be a volunteer at Jazz FM 91, I met Brad Barker and Heather Bambrick! I didn't have a camera with me back then, so I don't have any photos with of me with them sadly. But just a few weeks ago I met Eric Johnston the comedian and branding expert and I have a picture with him, see!
